PFPA: Get Involved!
We are always looking for volunteers to help with events at 941 Theater. If you are interested, please contact us. In addition, we are seeking the following unpaid interns for various tasks involving PFPA and 941 Theater:
Liberal Arts interns will be asked to assist with fundraising and sponsor relationships and should be enthusiastic about participating in the launch of a new business that will contribute to the art and culture of Philadelphia. If you are planning one day to start your own business, this is the internship for you!
Graphic Design interns will be expected to have a full understanding of how to optimize and integrate his/her work online using dreamweaver & flash as well as for broadcast mediums. Applicants are expected to bring their unique perspective to the table while being able to quickly take direction.
Advertising interns will help us build and manage our initial marketing push with new media as well as design and implement our regular marketing. This is exciting real world experience.
Journalism interns will help set up and run our film bill, and will be asked to help with various copywriting regarding our non-profit arm as well as various press releases. This is an exciting opportunity for a student who wants real world experience with a non-profit start up. If you have passionate feelings against media consolidation and want to improve the culture and arts scene in Philadelphia or if you just like great movies, this is the internship for you.
Business interns will help with budgeting, logistics, fundraising, sponsor relations and business management. Basically the Theater is an exciting opportunity for a student who wants to help structure a new business.
