About the 941 Theater
Philadelphia's premiere multi-use theater located at 941 N. Front Street in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia PA 19123. The 941 plays host to first run independent feature films as well as film festivals and other film related events. The 941 can also adapt to host live bands, art galleries, craft markets, film shoots, private receptions and much more! The 941 Theater is a not-for-profit theater and encourages all kinds of projected arts through their foundation the Philadelphia Friends of the Projected Arts.

About the 941 Founders:
For the last six years the 941 Theater partners have been producing the Backseat Film Festival with semi-annual events in Philadelphia (Roxy Theater, Triangle Theater), New York (Pioneer Theater) and Baltimore (Creative Alliance) as well as special events at venues across the nation such as the Alamo Draft House in Austin, TX and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH. Additionally, the 941 partners have years of experience working with theater owners and film festivals all over the world, both producing events and screening their own projects.
Their production company Backseat Conceptions has been doing business in Philadelphia for six years and have a good reputation with local film fans as well as filmmakers and vendors who will benefit from a new independent theater in Northern Liberties.
